Pay what you want (PWYW)
Do you make art for yourself or for the public? Do you write for yourself or for the readers? These remain interesting discussions however in everyday life I just want as many people as possible to experience my work.
Democratic pricing
A pricing system based on trust and personal value, matches best with some of my works. The price of something does not necessarily equal its worth or value. Therefore I let people decide howe much they want to pay for a drawing or to have one of my texts on their walls. It makes me happy when people are happy with my work without questioning themselves whether it was worth the money.
In addition I think art should be much less elitist and should get a much more common place in our lives. Art is for and from all of us. A democratic pricing system is part of this, as some of us can afford to pay more than others.
